I've got a stack of books already piled up and screaming to be read, but when I make my way through those, I might have to give Card a chance.

By the way, I had a really scary experience yesterday. I just blogged about it, as I had to work through some of the emotions. If you read all of his books, you'll find that he has perfected the ability to impart a message, religious or otherwise, without preaching. He is able in one sense to share with all his message from God,and to entertain in another. Truely a worthy teacher. I hope you'll read all his books as they are a treasure of wisdom.
My other observation is this, God is within us all, so don't you think it's silly to classify books as Christian or non. I think in every act of creativity,God shows his prescence,so who are WE to gainsay their message. After all, all Gods messages are not pretty!Gerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15561924577382317051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6315921425588478095.post-52706355761371791212007-11-09T22:56:00.000-05:002007-11-09T22:56:00.000-05:00I've only read one Orson Scott Card book, and it w...I've only read one Orson Scott Card book, and it was sort of a retelling of Sleeping Beauty, called Enchantment. It was SO GOOD. I mean, really good. But would not fit nicely into CBA.
I think your idea is a great one, and I have thought a lot about how to do it, but since I write romance, and since I don't know any secular publishers who publish romances without the bedroom scenes, I don't think I would make it.Melanie Dickersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09752176517296691824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6315921425588478095.post-87523961784920296522007-11-09T21:36:00.000-05:002007-11-09T21:36:00.000-05:00Um, Robin, you're creeping me out, and I hadn't ev...Um, Robin, you're creeping me out, and I hadn't even heard of that book before. Just your description is enough to make my skin start crawling. When I read the title, my first thought was of Peter Pan and his lost boys. Maybe I've been spending too much time with kids lately.
